Wendy Hansen, the owner of Happy Kai Dog Treats, is an HR Director, business owner, and lifelong animal lover. She’s always had a deep passion for both people and animals, dedicating much of her life to helping others. Wendy’s connection with dogs runs deep, having rescued and cared for many shelter dogs throughout her life. This love for animals, combined with her experience in business, led her to create Happy Kai Dog Treats.

Inspired by her rescue dog, Kai, Wendy set out to craft wholesome, all-natural dog treats that promote health and well-being. After Kai’s struggles with health issues, including stomach problems and a cancer diagnosis, Wendy became passionate about the benefits of natural nutrition for dogs. This led to the birth of Happy Kai Dog Treats, a business that not only offers delicious, nutrient-rich treats but also honors the bond between dogs and their humans. Wendy’s mission is to provide dogs everywhere with treats that support their health while celebrating the deep connection we share with our furry companions.
